ELC

Our ELC students are immersed in a play-based curriculum which nurtures a love of learning and positive self esteem. Emerging literacy and numeracy is fostered along with each child's natural curiosity and interests.

We recognise that children are capable and competent learners and plan experiences to consolidate and extend their skills.

The Early Learning Centre children are an integral part of the wider school community. Each student has a Year 5 buddy who visits regularly and with whom a special friendship is formed. Pre Prep and Kindergarten children are present at and participate in special School events such as the annual Christmas Concert, visiting performers and special assemblies.

Early Learning Centre Specialist Classes include:

• Perceptual Motor Program
• Ballet
• Swimming

Our ELC Kindergarten for three year olds and Pre-Prep for four year olds both offer the flexibility of a three, four or five day program.
