Our WAVES Priorities

Our curriculum programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of girls and are underpinned by our unique WAVES priorities.

Meeting the needs of girls at their different developmental stages is vital to their success as learners and their growth as competent, confident and connected individuals. At Mentone Girls' Grammar School, our comprehensive "Making WAVES" program of care and leadership sets us apart.

Operating on a single campus enables us to provide continuity in learning from Kinder to Year 12. We combine traditional structures into a seamless education, managed at every level by experienced specialist teachers.

Established in this, are distinct phases of our unique "Making WAVES" care and leadership program:

• Kinder - Year 4: "Between the flags" focusing on the early years

• Years 5 - 8: "Sea Change" supporting students at a time of significant personal change

• Years 9 - 10: "Charting your course" assisting students to reach out to the community

• Years 11 - 12: "Navigating" the pre-tertiary years in our Cobbalanna Senior College.

The "Making WAVES" Care and Leadership program is designed to support students' personal development and to promote their growth as ethical, culturally aware and articulate young leaders
