At Mentone Girls' Grammar School we are pleased to offer Academic (internal and external candidates) and General Excellence (external candidates only) scholarships for entry into Years 7 to 11 in 2010. Performing Arts Scholarships (internal and extrnal candidates) are available for entry into Years 7 to 10 in 2010.

 

If you are interested in having your child sit for a scholarship, please register by following the procedure outlined below, no later than Friday, 13 March, 2009.

 

A registration fee of $90 is payable at the time of registration. Registrations received after this date will incur a late fee of an additional $120.

During the Application process, you will be asked if you are applying for a Specialist Scholarship. If you are applying for a General Excellence or Performing Arts scholarship – please select “other” and type “General Excellence” or "Performing Arts" in the text box.

Details of Testing

The scholarship examination will be held on Saturday, 21 February 2009 in the Prudence Lewty Hall at Mentone Girls' Grammar School.  Registration commences at 8.30 am.  Testing begins promptly at 9.00 am and finishes at approximately 12.00 pm.

Please note candidates applying for a Performing Arts Scholarship will also be required to present for an audition approximately one week following the testing date.
