VCE Results

Congratulations to the VCE Class of 2007

Mentone Girls' Grammar School continues a strong tradition of academic success.  Not only do our students achieve impressive VCE results, but recent OnTrack data confirms that our students stand out in the bayside area in terms of post Year 12 destinations.  Every girl leaving our school is engaged in either employment or some form of training.  No students have been left without a tertiary offer or placement and, importantly, every girl is engaged in an area relating to her interests.

Students in the Class of 2007 achieved the following:

  • 100% pass rate
  • Dux for 2007 achieved an ENTER of 99.6
  • Dux Secundus achieved an ENTER of 99.4
  • 4% of the class were in the top 1% of the state with ENTERS of 99+
  • 27% of the class were in the top 5% of the state with ENTERS of 95+
  • 42% of the class were in the top 10% of the state with ENTERS of 90+
  • 62% of the class were in the top 20% of the state with ENTERS of 80+
  • 22 % of study scores were 40 or higher.
  • 57 % of all outcome based tasks were awarded A or A+
  • 84% of all outcome based tasks were awarded a B grade or above.

These fine results are a reflection of the hard work put in by students and their teachers over many years. We are particularly delighted in our students as most achieved or surpassed their personal expectations - these are not always reflected in an ENTER score.
